MEDICAL JAPAN 2019 – 5th Int’l Medical and Elderly Care Expo & Conference Osaka was successfully held from February 20 to 22, 2019 at INTEX Osaka, Japan. Ling Ting, director of WD Asia, and Carle Tse, (Hong Kong office) operations and business development officer of WD Asia attended the conference.

MEDICAL JAPAN is well-known as an international business platform in Japan. Japan leading B2B trade show covering all the products, services, technologies in the healthcare industry. Exhibitors from 24 countries/regions and 21,663 visitors from 32 countries/regions gathered altogether under one-roof. It is the best gateway for international exhibitors to meet business partners not only from Japan, but also from Asia and other areas of the world. With an increasing number of international visitors, the show is regarded as the Asian business hub. During the show period, the Conference was held in parallel to the exhibition. 170 sessions covered the latest trends in the medical and elderly care field. The conference program attracted many audience in Japan where the rapid population aging hits the entire healthcare industry and it is a serious social issue. Those conference sessions drew a great deal of attention from 10,159 attendees and put great impact to the industry. Industry leaders’ speeches including cutting edge technology and trends brought the conference to success.
WD Asia’s delegation attended the event and met with outstanding speakers and attendees, building strong relationships with international companies and individuals.
On February 25, WD Asia delegation was invited by the Canadian embassy in South Korea to participate in the ” Ontario-Alberta Life Sciences Mission 2019″, which aims to learn more about South Korea and explore business opportunities in health industry. During the activity, the delegation had an exchange with a number of south Korean investment enterprises and had a preliminary understanding of their needs. The mission trip also laid the groundwork for WD Asia’s entry into the Korean market.
